Our Instructor is one of less than 400 professionals in the world with the
PgMP credential. The PgMP credential distinguishes him as one of the select
group of program managers who has the experience, skill and performance to
oversee multiple, related projects that are aligned with the organizational
strategy.
Having worked in companies like Barclays Capital, Hewlett Packard, AT&T and
Star TV, our instructor brings with him the knowledge of processes that span
a diverse industry segment.
In the role of a Six Sigma Black Belt at Barclays Capital, our trainer was
responsible for setting up the Global Support Center focused on Level 1 and
Level 2 support. He was instrumental in using program management principles
to improve various service levels in response to pressing business needs.
In the role of a Program Manager for HP within the Operations division, he
was instrumental in developing capabilities for improving direct sales for
HP in the South East Region. This included integrating the sales
applications with the order management applications.
Working for a Telecom giant, our trainer, in the role of a consultant was
instrumental as a subject matter expert for applying program management
principles to more than 200 million dollars worth programs.
Our trainer's experience in consulting spans 3 continents and over 15
countries including Japan, China, Sweden, Ireland, Singapore, Philippines,
Indonesia, Malaysia and Germany and UAE to name a few. Working with various
IT enabled services, our trainer has been instrumental for improving metrics
like Handling Time, Uptime, First Time Resolution Rate, Mean Time Between
Failures and Activity Based Costing.
Our trainer's key strengths include applying statistical tools to project
management, lateral thinking, risk management, procurement management, cost
management and quality management.
He has written various articles for top project management and quality
magazines. He shares a passion for program management and is one of the
contributors to the Fourth Edition of the Project Management Body of
Knowledge (PMBOK Guide(r) Fourth Edition.
