What sets us apart from other providers?
There are two ways of approaching an exam; memorizing the material and the other is to really understand the material.
Research and our experience tell us that merely memorizing the material will not guarantee success- unless you have a photographic memory! However, these exams usually test your comprehension of the material by asking a lot of situational questions. This is where we come in. Through our courses, we MAKE SURE that you comprehend the material. The knowledge you will gain will last beyond the exam, and beyond the exam, you will be able to apply this knowledge to your job. |

Importance of Interpersonal Skills
While professional (hard) skills are definitely crucial in our individual application areas, interpersonal (soft) skills have universal applicability. These skills apply to every aspect of our lives. These skills are not just gaining ground in popularity, but are also becoming essential, in order to survive the increasingly competitive corporate area. |
Negotiation Skills
Getting what we want is not an easy feat is it? Making sure both parties leave a discussion with a win-win solution is even harder. This course will equip you with those skills that will help you navigate through any discussion and attain your objectives.
Conflict Management
Conflicts, whether we like it or not, are a part of our lives. Conflicts can fall within a continuum ranging from a discussion to a heated exchange of words (or in some cases, fists!) Successfully learning to manage conflicts will help us in every part of our life. In our course, you will learn to identify situations of conflict, understand the cause of the conflict, and learn to use effective strategies to deal with any situation of conflict.
Assertiveness
Have you been in situations where you wish you had been more assertive, or less aggressive? This course will equip you to identify your style, and to be able to express yourself in a manner that is respectful to yourself and others.
Having difficult conversations
We have all been in those conversations where we first cringe at the thought of being in, and when we are, we can't' seem to get the best out of them. We eventually leave these discussions wishing the outcome had been different.
Dealing with bad news
It's universal. Our reaction to bad news is usually that driven by impulse. It's not just about our actions, more importantly, it's about what we feel and think. In our corporate lives, perception is king. We need to learn how to both- internally- process the news, and externally- respond effectively. In this course, you will learn to recognize our natural mode of response, and to deal with the news - internally and externally.
Giving and receiving feedback
In our training courses, we have found that this particular area sparks a lot of interest and participation. The topic of feedback is usually under the radar, when compared to other human skills topics, but, interestingly, has turned out to be one of our more popular courses. Both facets of feedback- giving and taking, requires mutually independent skills. You will learn these skills in our course through theory and exercises.
Are you a manager or a leader
Many use the terms manager and leader interchangeably. This is not necessarily true. Each role carries with it different characteristics and functions. You can learn the differences between the two, and identify which is your natural role, and how you can imbibe qualities of both.
Giving powerful presentations
In a survey conducted in the US, people rated fear of public speaking only after fear of dying! The fear related to giving presentations is associated to many areas- the pre-presentation anxiety, the delivery, the anxiety of keeping the audience interested, and so on. We arm you with techniques to battle these fears, and to convey your message verbally and through body language- powerfully. |
Managing anxiety - understanding the flight or fight response
Anxiety is one of the most common emotions we have, and, contrary to popular belief, not always bad. The key to beating anxiety is understanding it. Our bodies give us clues which, if we learn to interpret and soothe, will significantly remove feelings of anxiety. Learn how to read these clues and apply techniques to calm yourself.
Organizing effective meetings

The reasons behind that difficulty are many. But the fact is that the message can be conveyed without disrupting the relationship or offending the person. Learn this very useful skill, and see how different you feel.
